1. Importance of Reservations
Your reservations are very important to the Kennel Club Boarding team. They are set aside especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we require 72 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of reservations. Due to high demand over the summer (July and August) as well as statutory holidays, long weekends and school holidays, cancellations and rescheduling are not possible for these dates. This includes, but is not limited to, all national (Canada) and provincial (Ontario) statutory holidays and includes any weekend connected to these dates as well as school holidays. This means that no part of your booking will be refunded if it includes any holiday, long weekend or falls in July or August, or any other school holiday, either in part or in full. Therefore, please ensure your plans are confirmed and that your dog has all of the required vaccinations prior to booking.
2. Acknowledgment of Policies
Our website requires you to acknowledge that you have read and agree with this policy before proceeding to checkout and completing your booking.
3. Refund Policy
We will not refund a booking if you are denied services due to inadequate or lack of proof of vaccination, or incomplete, missing, or denied registration form. Your registration form should be submitted and approved prior to booking. Customers cannot access the checkout without first acknowledging that they have submitted and received approval for their registration form.
4. Impact of Cancellations
As a limited-size kennel, when you forget, cancel, or change your booking without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that reservation with other customers waiting for an opportunity to use our services.
5. Value of Time
We value our time and work hard to keep our prices at a reasonable rate. If we miss the opportunity to provide our services to customers due to missed reservations or late cancellations, we will be unable to keep our rates competitive. Therefore, we have a strictly enforced cancellation and rescheduling policy.
6. Appointment Confirmations
As a courtesy, your appointments are confirmed electronically at the time of booking via email. The email includes a link to automatically import an ICS file, which can be clicked to import your reservation into your calendar software. This helps prevent forgotten appointments.
7. Responsibility for Appointments
Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to prevent any missed appointments, which result in a cancellation fee. Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from us is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment.
8. Emergency Absences
Emergency absences will be considered on an individual basis by Kennel Club Boarding. You may request not to be charged for the late-cancelled session in writing within 7 days if you feel such action is warranted. Kennel Club Boarding will make the decision to honor your request on a case-by-case basis and will respond back to you in writing within 7 days.
9. Circumstances Beyond Control
If we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, such as power outages, acts of God, disasters, or weather causing us to cancel a booking or be closed during regular business hours, we will refund your reservation.
10. Commitment to Policies
Kennel Club Boarding stands by its policies and quality of service. We believe it is fair to honor the same policies for our clients. If we have to cancel a booking with less than the required notice of the booking scheduled, we will honor the same policy and your next reservation will be free of charge up to the same value as the canceled reservation.
The cancellation policy gives us time to accept new reservations and keep our facility operating efficiently, thus better serving everyone. Kennel Club Boarding policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent service for our established and future clientele.
