Cancelation Policy

Your reservations are very important to the Kennel Club Boarding team.  They are set aside especially for you.  We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary.  Therefore, we require 72 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of reservations. Due to high demand over the summer (July and August) as well as statutory holidays, long weekends and school holidays, cancellations and rescheduling are not possible for these dates. This includes, but is not limited to, all national (Canada) and provincial (Ontario) statutory holidays and includes any weekend connected to these dates as well as school holidays. This means that no part of your booking will be refunded if it includes any holiday, long weekend or falls in July or August, of any other school holiday, either in part or in full. therefore please ensure your plans are confirmed and that your dog has all of the required vaccinations prior to booking.

We will not refund a booking if you are denied services due to inadequate or lack of proof of vaccination or incomplete or missing registration form. 

Please understand that as a limited size kennel, when you forget, cancel, or change your booking without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that reservation with other customers waiting for an opportunity to use our services.  

We value our time and work hard to keep our prices at a reasonable rate. If we miss the opportunity to provide our services to customers due to missed reservations or late cancelation, we will be unable to keep our rates competitive. Therefore, we have a strictly enforced cancellation and rescheduling policy.

As a courtesy, your appointments are confirmed electronically at the time of booking via email. Within the email is a link to automatically import ICS file which can be clicked to import your reservation to your calendar software because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. 

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments which result in a cancellation fee.  Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from us is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment. 

Emergency absences will be considered on an individual basis by Kennel Club Boarding.  You may request not to be charged for the late cancelled session in writing within 7 days if you feel such action is warranted.  Kennel Club Boarding will make the decision to honor your request on a case-by-case basis and will respond back to you in writing within 7 days.

It is understood that if we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, such as power outage, acts of god, disaster or weather causing us to cancel a booking or be closed during regular business hours, we will refund your reservation

Kennel Club Boarding stands by it's policies and quality of service. We feel that it is only fair that we honor the same policies to our clients.  If we have to cancel a booking with less than the required notice of the booking scheduled, we will honor the same policy and your next reservation will be free of charge up to the same value as the cancelled reservation.

The cancellation policy gives us time to accept new reservations, as well as keeping our facility operating efficiently, thus better serving everyone.  Kennel Club Boarding policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent service for our established and future clientele.
